freeware card game makers? does anybody know of any `Freeware` card game makers (for windows xp)? im looking for something to easily make a card game (like magic the gathering) without having to put in hundreds of lines of code does anyone know where to look for this? I'm looking for simple games to download for my computer. Any ideas for sites that are free of spyware, etc.? I'm looking for simple games (500 kb or less) that contain no spyware and no viruses. I am looking for a card game I love to play ( Speed) I am wondering if the have the offline software you can download and play on the computer without an internet connection Like Solitaire . Can my old video card be configured to run flash videos and games smoothly? I can't afford a new computer at the time, so please do not give that as an answer. My video card is a nvidia geforce2 MX/MX 400 and i have 640mb physical ram installed, with a Pentium 4 1.4Gigahertz processor. Any tips to help videos and flash games run smoothly would be appreciated, as well as links to freeware programs/drivers that would configure the card to run better. I heard about something called overclocking for the card but don't know if it will make it run better or not. Best Mac Game Making Software? What is the best (freeware PLEASE) game making software out there for mac. I have tried GameMaker for windows and I LOVED it. and I tried to download it for mac, but all I could find was this crappy, card base, pre-OSX, 80's like, need programming knowlage, "game maker." help my computer game always has fatal errors? i have fsx and after i put on freeware textures it just made my game crash and says it has a fatal error.. one guy told me to reinstall it. the other told me that wont do any good and i need to get a new video card. but what should i do? first of all i suck and really don't know anything about computers, second of all i can't afford a video card at this moment

What's slowing down my laptop: age or usage? Hey, I've got a Dell XPS M140 that I've owned for about three years now. For the past few months it's been taking quite a while to load up when I turn the system on and off. I watch the processes under task manager to see if anything's hogging up resources, but the idle process is the main thing running. I'm wondering if this is because of its age or how I use it. I basically treat it like a desktop - it's usually turned on for days at a time, and 99% of the time it's running on the adapter instead of the battery. Right now 30% of my harddrive is free, and I run Spybot, defrag, and disk cleanup once a month or so, on top of the antivirus provided by my college (they don't let us use anything but their mongrel basic McAfee VirusScan). I use the internet heavily, especially Youtube, and I regularly uninstall programs I don't use, but they like to leave remains sometimes. For about a year I had only 15% of my harddrive space free, taken up by a game that would crash my graphics card sometimes. I've since uninstalled it, and none of the games I play now really push the card. Any ideas as to what's causing a lag, or suggestions for freeware that might help me further clean up my computer?

My laptop can't record sound? I'd like to record soundtracks from a game so essentially this would be recording sounds internally from the computer's audio output, not using microphone. I have tried all those Recording Control thing and tried it in Audacity/Sony Sound Forge but I still can't get sounds when I press the record button. Increase my PC's performance - gaming? Ok, so I just bought the new "code of honor" conspiracy island. it's sluggish and aiming is like sliding on ice, slowly. I tried different methods increasing performance.
