Are Video Games Addictive? I have alot of video games, but seem to want more. Are they addictive like a drug?

I don't know why I am not happy with the games that I already have. I keep on wanting more. Anyone else in my shoes who feels like they never have enough games or systems? IS it a bad thing to be so into games?

1. Some ppl say that when u play constantly in buts this thing, like nicotene in your head so that you will play it again, and again, i dont no but it is addictive for me.
2. its not your fault at all, most games now adays are made for you to play once, really like it, but get board of it and want to buy a new one. i honestly cant stand it. I either pirate everything i think looks semi-good. or just play old games that are so much better. you can beat some new game as many times as you want, but nothing compares to getting a new high score in frogger.
3. they are very addictive. i always want more games and if theres only one game i want but don't have the system for it it makes me want to by the system just for that one game.im 13 btw. like halo3 i only wanted that one i was seriously thinking of bying a 360 just to get halo3.
4. if you think that being into games affects your life in a bad way its a bad thing and its not good to play too much yes video games can be addictive and if you get everything you want there will be no end spend sometime outdoors to keep your mind off video games
