What PS2 games are so enjoyable that they're almost addictive?

What PS2 games are enjoyable for countless hours, fun for months on end? I'm looking for games that people have actually had this experience with. All genres are good.

5. OK. I am a huge PS2 fan and I will be listing a couple of games that I really recommend and that kept me busy because I was ALMOST addicted. Bully Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Ratchet & Clank 3: Up your arsenal Need for speed: Underground/2 Need for speed: Carbon MARVEL vs Capcom 2 Kingdom Hearts/II - Best PS2 game ever IMO Final Fantasy X/XII NBA 2K9 Dragonball Z:Infinite World There are heaps more but these are the ones that are really good.
