Freeware Puzzle Games

What are good mystery/puzzle/adventure video Games?

I love mystery/puzzle/adventure games like Phoenix wright:Ace Attorney. I was wondering if anyone could recommend any other video games for me. Other games that are mystery I have are: Trace memory, Professor Layton, Hotel Dusk, Apollo Justice, Zelda Phantom Hourglass (kind of counts), Touch Detective. I also Like horror survival games (silent hill, resident evil, Dementium the ward, etc) :) Also please no educational games like Brain Age. Thanks!

2. k for adventure/rpg...also kinda creepy at times get fallout 3...this is my favorite game and so many quests to do before you can finish the game...story lines not long but there are plenty of side quests

5. Do you play PC games? The Penumbra series might be completely what you're after. It's all horror, mystery, puzzle, and adventure. Score, right? The developers call it survival horror, which is fair, but the games are less about combat than that suggests; your guy sucks at fighting the awful things around him. Anyway, it's worth a google. It looks like you're more of a DS person though? Umm... Mystery Dungeon's a nice adventure game. Very old school though (SNES remake), and incredibly unforgiving. Also there is no mystery involved, hardly any puzzling either. You might like the Lost in Blue games (adventure, puzzle, survival, no horror). That's actually all I can think of. Hope it helps.
