How can I mod my psp so I can play freeware games?

I've got a PSP fat with 5.50 firmware. I bought a pandora battery and a spare memory stick, how do I mod it?

1. First thing-Downgrade it to a 1.5 firmware using Dark Alex(Google Him) Tools. Then you get the software for the custom firmawre because you can only do this with 1.5 firmware. You get the software to upgrade your PSP to an M33 firmware which is also called a custom Firmware. When you have downloaded it , you plug in your PSP to the Computer and place in the folder PSP>GAME. You run the installer tehn and your PSP will have a black screen at it will go like 1%,2%,3%,etc. I recommend you get 3.52M33 because it has the easiest installer. When you have the custom firmware you plug your PSP and go to your memory stick files. Make a folder called ISO(All capitals) and download games called ISO or can be called CSO, they are both the same except CSOs are compressed and have less Space to fill in your Memory stick. Place ISO/CSO files in that ISO folder adn it will show on your PSP. You can download ISOs from www.pspgweber.com www.pspower.us www.pspisoz.net www.pspisos.org I hope I helped ;)
