Freeware Puzzle Games

are there any home brew or freeware ps3 games?

Ok xbox360 requires you to pay £30-£40 every year to go online but have free games, PS3 online is free but there are no free games, just a few demos. But are there any freeware games somewhere else on line, or apps that run on PS3?
