Do You Think That Video Games Are Addictive?
Considering the fact that a user that played the Online Game Everquest committed suicide over losing all of his armor and weapons. I want your full opinion not just a solution or yes or no. My opinion is that video game playing should be controlled by the player. Even though I do play video games more than i should. It's more than a recreation to me. Football players play Football. Gamers play games. Addicts cant stop. Please read the description. Full opinions please. not just Yes or No.

- to some people they are
- si!
- It can be an addiction. I almost faced the same fate.
- Yes and No it depends on what type of person you are but for just an answer: yes
- Their addictive to people who let the games get the best of them. i know a few people like this
- My opinion: It depends on how mature or immature the player is. People who are smarter than most people will realize if they're starting to get addicted, while younger people won't know. You'd have to be completely stupid or immature if you're going to kill yourself over a video game (sounds really interesting).
- I think they can be. There was a guy in Japan playing a game at a cafe that died of dehydration from playing so looong. Thats when I think you got a problem lol. I mean I have played Madden for a few hours, but my longest was like 10 hrs str8 on Final Fantasy 7 lol, which is nothing compared to some other people. My eyes just get tired, but I think they are addictive, but some people need to control how long they play, if for a looooooong time then eat and drink lol.
- I feel that people are going to typically be fanatical about something in their life, or other. Sometimes it's their family, or games, or other hobbies; as you say, football is another good one. But sometimes, people become overly fanatical, and can even a bit obsessive about things. So yes, they can be addictive, if you let them. As with anything in your life, you have to learn where to set your limits and boundaries and have enough responsibility to manage yourself and your activities (and your money, and your eating, etc etc etc... that rule applies in so many places).
